Update on classes during COVID 19 pandemic!
We are excited to share that Grand Health Academy would be opening its campuses from July 2, 2020 as per the announcement from the Ministry of Colleges and Universities regarding a Phased Approach to Reopening Post Secondary Education in Ontario.
Considering this announcement, our team members have developed an integrated approach to learning, which combines online and in class learning. This will ensure that students requiring labs/ practical training in order to graduate from their program of study will be scheduled lab session on campus during this first phase of opening.
The students and staff who will be scheduled for on campus training will be informed directly starting July, 2020. Only those who are contacted will be required to come to the campuses. Other students will continue to study in online format. The primary importance will be given to students who require practical training to meet program completion requirements. Staff will be available to facilitate these sessions, however all other administrative activities will also continue to be performed online.
We appreciate the efforts of our staff and students who have transitioned seamlessly to the online platform and successfully completed the online components. This phased opening will allow us to cover the practical component as well so that our graduates can embark on their journey to a new career.
We have created a policy for COVID-19 protection which will be effectively displayed and shared with students and staff coming to the campuses. It outlines the safety and hygiene practices that will
provide the confidence to everyone that we are working in a safe environment. We urge our students and staff to follow the safety protocols and keep everyone safe. Your health and safety is our prime concern!
